Rosie McGrath Panchini and Isabel Gavidia from "The Big Event" in Cortona ( http://www.thebigevent.biz ) were great wedding planners. We really appreciate all their hard work in pulling off such a great event. It would have been impossible to do it without you!
Rosie has a great team of people she works with, who without fail, were all top quality.
- Thank you to Miek for organising all the wedding documentation in Florence with the British Consulate.
- The florist designed the most amazing flower creations which everyone loved and who was a joy to work with.
- The caterers produced top quality food including the most amazing canapés and deserts.
- Alessandro for the stunning ceremony music. The soprano had many people in the ceremony close to tears.
- The marquee architects created a structure that looked amazing and looked so in keeping with Villa Fontelunga.
- Lilys canapés, cakes and Prosecco at the post-ceremony drinks reception in Cortona were greatly appreciated by everyone.
- Lucrecia and her band had everyone up and dancing after dinner. There were even requests to purchase her CD at the end of the evening!
The photographer Domenico Costabile was great to work with and both Kira & I had a fantastic time wandering around the streets of Cortona and the fields of the Tuscan countryside in the name of photography!
Katie Druett ( http://www.druettdesigns.co.uk ) worked with us to produce the perfect wedding stationary which everyone commented on and thought was great. Thanks to her help and patience, we were able to turn a few random ideas into a great finished product. Invitations
And finally a big thanks to Paolo, Philip, Simon & the team at Villa Fontelunga ( http://www.fontelunga.com ). They treated us and our guests so well and made us feel so at home. Without them and the dogs, Villa Fontelunga would not be such a special place for us all.
